Easter Sunday Setlist

I don't know about you, but I really had a great time over the Easter weekend break. Our church joined with others in the Churches Together Walk of Witness through Wisbech, my local town. I did my multi-media thing and took photos and video of the event, posting it on the church blog and YouTube. It even made the local papers! It was also a great time of family and friends - very busy, but very good!

Of course the highlight was Easter Sunday. As we were reminded at chruch - without Jesus rising ffrom the dead, Christianity would be a pointless waste of time! The resurrection of Christ is of central importance to the entirity of what Christianity is. Jesus is alive! If he was not, we would not be able to hear his voice / sense his promptings and direction in our lives today, we would have no hope of life after death - of heaven and God's promises fulfilled, we would loose our sense of purpose and destiny of our lives on this earth - without the resurrection and the promise of eternal life, why bother?

Anyway, I was leading worship on Easter Sunday. I wanted to start at the cross, but then move swiftly on to celebrating Jesus' resurrection. Here is my setlist that includes some cracking Easter songs (excuse the egg-celent pun!)

Jesus Christ I Think Upon Your Sacrifice (Once Again) - Matt Redman - E
